Ferrovanadium is a ferroalloy obtained by reducing vanadium pentoxide with carbon in an electric furnace, or by reducing vanadium pentoxide by silicon thermal method in an electric furnace. Ferrovanadium is a ferroalloy composed of vanadium and iron, mainly used as an alloy additive in steelmaking, and high-vanadium ferrovanadium is also used as an additive for non-ferrous alloys. Commonly used ferrovanadium has three types: 40%, 50%, 60% and 80% vanadium.
The vanadium content of the iron and vanadium master alloy (fe-v binary alloy) is not less than 35.0% (by weight) and not more than 85.0% (by weight). Vanadium is a member of the vanadium family of elements on the periodic table, with an atomic number of 23, an atomic weight of 50.942, a melting point of 1887 degrees and a boiling point of 3337 degrees. About 80% of vanadium and iron are used as alloying elements in steel. Specifications: Natural block, 10-100mm, powder or customized according to customer requirements. Packaging: iron drum packaging (100KG per barrel)
